Senior Financial Director – Expertise Responsibilities Lead all internal financial, operational, and commercial reporting to support performance management and strategic decision‑making. Develop dashboards, in‑depth analyses, and scenario models covering costs, margins, pricing, sales, and freight. Provide strong analytical leadership to Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing teams. Drive cost control initiatives, productivity improvements, and plant efficiency enhancements. Lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing financial reporting team, fostering rigor and transparency. Optimize financial processes, support strategic initiatives, and lead financial integration for M&A transactions. Qualifications and Requirements CPA designation required; Bachelor’s degreein Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration (MBA considered an asset). Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance, ideally within pulp & paper / packaging industry. Demonstrated expertise in cost accounting, standard costing, and driving improvements in plant financial performance. Strong proficiency in operational and commercial reporting, financial planning, and scenario modeling. Advanced experience with SAP (FI/CO), including system deployments or expert‑level user capabilities. Recognized strategic leadership, strong analytical skills, clear communication, and ability to influence and lead cross‑functional teams. Full professional proficiency in both French and English, enabling effective collaboration with teams and partners across Québec, English‑speaking provinces, and the United States.
