We pride ourselves on a collegial, supportive team environment and are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our Charlottetown office. This is a senior role suited for a confident professional who can manage corporate files with minimal supervision and provide guidance and support to lawyers and junior team members. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES provide comprehensive support to the firm’s clients in all aspects of corporate transactions, including asset and share purchases and sales, re‑organisations, and financings; independentlycomplete incorporations, amendments, continuances, amalgamations, dissolutions, revivals, and re‑organisations of Provincial and Federal entities; conduct and coordinate due diligence reviews; prepare and file PPSA registrations and related searches; review, organise, and maintain complex corporate minute books; assist lawyers with transaction closings and post‑closing matters; record billable and non‑billable time in accordance with firm standards; provide supervision, mentorship, guidance, and technical support to junior staff where appropriate; and perform other related duties as required. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Successful completion of a Paralegal or Legal Assistant diploma, or post‑secondary education in a related field; Minimum five years of corporate paralegal experience, preferably in a law firm environment; Strong working knowledge of corporate statutes, filings, and regulatory requirements; Advanced competency in Microsoft Office and experience working with corporate database and legal document management systems; Exceptional attention to detail and solid analytical skills; Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills; Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment; Demonstrated ability to work independently and exercise sound professional judgment; Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
