Position Overview Under the general supervision of the Manager/Charge Cardiology Technologist, and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of NICT program in Selkirk Hospital.
\n
The Senior Cardiology
\n
Technologist is responsible for performing all function as a General Duty Cardiology Technologist, teaching Cardiology Technicians, supervising the other cardiology technologists under management’s direction.
\n
Experience Minimum 2 years as a General Duty Cardiology Technologist, in a large department preferred.
\n
Supervisory experience an asset.
\n
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate) Completion of a formal management training program or health care administration course is an asset. Certification/Licensure/Registration Must be a member in positive standing with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologist (CSCT).
\n
Current BCLS within the past 12 months of BCLS Instructor Certificate.
\n
Province of Manitoba Class 5 driver’s license, or equivalent from province of residence.
\n
Qualifications And Skills Proficiency with Microsoft program (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint), as well as Internet applications and other Information Technology required.

Demonstrated organizational skills.
\n
Workplace Health and Safety Program or training preferred.
\n
Ability to facilitate change in a positive and productive manner. Apply technical knowledge to interpretation of results, troubleshooting, and assessing of methods.
\n
Ability to effectively work under pressure.
\n
Maintains confidentiality with all information entrusted to the positions.
\n
Excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work and exercise initiative.
\n
Must be able to communicate effectively in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
\n
