Experience with mentoring and training environmental staff
Education and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Fisheries is required, graduate degree preferred.
Registered Professional Biologist or Technologist accreditation required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience as a fisheries biologist with consulting experience.
Knowledge of current provincial and federal government regulatory requirements and regulatory authorities. (e.g., Canada Energy Regulator, Fisheries and Oceans Canada, etc.)
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
