functional team focused on continuously evolving our technology stack and improving deployment processes.As part of your responsibilities, you will design and maintain military‐grade solutions for both client deployments as well as internal environments used for quality assurance, staging, and demonstrations. This includes managing infrastructure, application components, and the DCS platform itself. The role requires a strong technical foundation in network and security infrastructure, Unix/Linux systems, identity management, and Microsoft BackOffice technologies to ensure seamless integration with client environments.In addition, you should have a solid understanding of the DevSecOps methodology, including software development lifecycle, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), container management technologies, as well as component integrations to secure, effectively scale, and operate our solutions. Exceptional troubleshooting abilities and strong communication skills are essential, as you will be working directly with clients to resolve issues and ensure successful deployments. You will also be responsible for capturing insights and lessons learned from client installations to help drive continuous improvement across both our client solution and its associated installation and configuration tools.ResponsibilitiesDesign, upgrade, and maintain IT Infrastructure and Application layers, including networking, firewalls, identity management, security management, and Microsoft BackOffice for non‐production Cord3 environments.Design, deploy, and troubleshoot DCS architecture components for clients, often in secure, air‐gapped, disconnected military environments.Collaborate with cross‐functional teams, clients, and vendors during DCS deployments.Assess existing deployed systems, identify issues, and provide effective solutions.Implement control features to meet quality standards and ensure efficiency.Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.Proactively identify risks and suggest improvements for future enhancements.Engage in complex incident resolution escalated by junior engineers.Develop and automate scripts to enhance system efficiency. IaC skills (e.G., Terraform, Ansible, and PowerShell DSC) are highly desirable.This role may require occasional travel to support operational needs, events, external training sessions, or stakeholder engagements.QualificationsMinimum 10 years of experience.Must hold or be eligible for Government of Canada Security Clearance at Secret Level or above.Development of on‐premise/cloud network infrastructure, including firewalls and SDWAN. Experience should include Fortinet, Cisco, and Versa. Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting UNIX/Linux environments.Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification, including Windows Server and Active Directory experience as well as Microsoft BackOffice experience (Exchange, SharePoint, SQL, etc.).Certificate Authority (CA) management experience, including creating and applying public and private keys and certificates.Federated Identity Management experience (for example, SAML, ADFS, and OAuth) with products such as Ping Federate, IBM Verify, KeyCloak, etc.Strong Docker and container orchestration skills.Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
