The Opportunity
\nWe are seeking a Senior Accountant (0.6 FTE) to take ownership of core accounting functions across two companies: Tyax Lodge & Heliskiing and Tyax Real Estate (TRE LTD).\n

cycle accounting across two companies\n
Deliver accurate monthly financial reporting on a consistent schedule
\n
Oversee accounts payable, receivable, and payroll
\n
Lead budgeting and track departmental performance against plan
\n
Build and maintain budgeting tools for department leads
\n
Develop and maintain rolling cash flow forecasts
\n
Ensure compliance with tax and reporting requirements (GST, PST, payroll, etc.)
\n
Track and support capital project financials
\n
Additional Responsibilities Include:
\nSupport operational reconciliation (F&B;, guest services)\n
What Success Looks Like
\nMonthly financials are accurate and delivered on time\n
Payroll and core accounting functions run consistently without errors
\n
Clear visibility into cash flow and upcoming financial needs
\n
Department leaders have simple, usable budgeting tools
\n
Financial issues are identified early and communicated clearly
\n
What We’re Looking For
\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field\n
3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
\n
Strong understanding of full
