Employment Type: Summary*
\nRiverside Foundry Inc. is looking for someone who would be responsible for grinding and sanding metal castings to remove rough edges, excess metal, and other imperfections. This position requires attention to detail and adherence to safety and quality standards.\n
This position is for the afternoon shift but currently we are only running one shift (day shift).*
Job Duties/Responsibilities:*
Sanding castings as per customers requirements and maintaining quality criteria
Starts sander and observes ground product discharge into containers for impurities, lumps, or improperly sized particles.
Drop sanded product into containers for storage, shipment, or further processing
Equipment used: Stationary belt sanders and all hand tool grinders.
