Employment Type: Plan and instruct cooks in preparation, cooking, garnishing and presentation of sushi foods • Develop and execute seasonal or special sushi menus to attract and retain customers in collaboration with management • Create special house sauce and new recipes to improve tastes and qualities of the dishes • Maintain accurate portioning, seasoning, and presentation standards • Prepare all types of sushi including nigiri, sashimi, maki, specialty rolls, chef’s specials, and specialty foods • Ensure health regulations and food safety policies are followed • Demonstrate new techniques and equipment • Supervise and train cook • Coordinate with suppliers and management to order and receive fresh, high
