We are currently looking to hire a Safety and Compliance Administrator based out of our Caledon office in Ontario.
\n
Responsibilities:
\nMaintain all tractor and trailer files.\n
· Driver Hiring
\n
· Orientation of new employees with safety instruction, including, but not limited to, Dangerous Goods, WHMIS, driver, warehouse, and maintenance personnel education.
\n
· Managing, processing, and auditing driver logs. Follow up on any outstanding discrepancies.
\n
· Collision / Incident Investigation.
\n
· Manage and maintain all Driver Qualification files. Ensuring all documents are up to date.
\n
· Making sure drivers are accurately completing accident/incident reports when required.
\n
· Scheduling safety meetings/training when required with drivers.
\n
· Health and Safety knowledge / federal
\n
· Processing of IFTA, IRP Licensing / Renewals.
\n
· Processing and maintaining CTPAT and US DOT requirements.
\n
Requirements and Skills:
\n· 2 years of experience in safety and compliance in the transportation industry\n
· Strong computer skills. Excel, Microsoft
\n
· Excellent time management and prioritization skills
\n
· Ability to work with all levels including drivers and upper management
\n
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
\n
