Ensure health and safety as a Safety Advisor specializing in Occupational Hygiene. Lead initiatives focused on creating compliant and secure environments for healthcare teams and patients.
This position involves planning and evaluating health initiatives while enhancing occupational safety across multiple settings. You will be a resource for consultation, facilitating relationships with teams and stakeholders to uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and improve occupational hygiene services
• Conduct inspections and recommend safety improvements
• Develop training and awareness programs
• Collaborate on injury prevention and safety protocols
• Liaise with external safety organizations and consultants
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Occupational Hygiene or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare workplace
• Registered as AIHA or ACGIH member preferred
• Valid Class V BC Driver’s License required
• Understanding of occupational health regulations
