service casual fine dining establishment that has been in operation for 19 years. We are seeking an experienced and energetic Restaurant Manager to oversee daily 'front of house' operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and lead our team to success. The ideal candidate will possess robust leadership skills, extensive restaurant experience, serving and bartending experience and a passion for the food industry. This is a 'working manager' role managing staff, and ensuring the overall efficiency of the restaurant environment.
Duties
Supervise daily restaurant operations and serving processes
Manage and train staff in proper table and wine service
Floor shifts serving or bartending
Lead team management activities including interviewing, hiring, and performance evaluations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within dining areas
Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer service to enhance guest satisfaction
Implement operational policies to improve efficiency and profitability
Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally
Qualities:
Server and Bar experience required
Proven experience in restaurant management or food service leadership roles
Familiarity with POS systems
Supervising experience with a focus on team management and development
Knowledge of hospitality industry best practices, including serving and wine standards
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interview, train, and motivate staff
Demonstrated leadership qualities with a focus on customer service excellence
Experience in a similar food industry environment is a plus
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently in a fast
