Knowledge Mobilization and Resource Development (25%)Translate research findings into practical tools and resources for youth and youth serving organizations. Support the development of youth discussion guides on consent and healthy relationships. Develop navigation resources that outline how to access gender based violence supports. Coordinate translation and design of knowledge products to ensure accessibility. Organize and support stakeholder engagement sessions and knowledge sharing activities.
Key competencies for this role include community based research, facilitation, cultural competency, robust organizational skills, and the ability to work independently while building meaningful relationships.
General ResponsibilitiesPlan and manage project timelines, deliverables, and reporting requirements.Support research ethics approval processes and maintain compliance with ethical standards. Maintain accurate and organized documentation of research activities and findings. Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. Collaborate with the BIPOC USHR team to ensure alignment with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
Education:Degree or diploma in social sciences, human services, or related fields such as psychology, sociology, anthropology, or political science, or equivalent work experience.
