Primary Responsibilities: Deliver prescribed treatment plan as assigned by the supervising therapist in to individuals living in the community Perform various treatments as prescribed and directed by the supervising therapist including but not limited to gait training, balance exercises, transfer training, range of motion, strengthening, application of modalities. (i.e. ultrasound, TENS), ADL retraining, cognitive retraining, wheelchair skills, etc.
Deliver dynamic, secure and therapeutically beneficial home exercise programs Maintain regular ongoing communication with the supervising therapist regarding any changes or concerns about a client''s status or treatment interventions Effectively communicate information to client/caregivers Complete and maintain current and accurate documentation related to clients progress using EMR technology Understands and implements infection prevention practice Requirements: Graduate of a recognized OTA/PTA program (required) Experience working within a community setting is an asset but RAs with general experience are also encouraged to apply Ability to work independently and as part of an inter
