Education: Exprience: Education Other trades certificate or diploma Heating, air conditioning, ventilation and refrigeration maintenance technology/technician Tasks Install and overhaul heating systems Install equipment in refrigerated trucks used to transport food or medical supplies Install refrigeration systems Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems Maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks Measure and lay out reference points for installation Troubleshoot heating systems Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components Measure, cut and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment Provide customer service Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices Perform maintenance such as, recharging system with refrigerant, checking and testing regulators or calibrating system Handle, recover and store refrigerants Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic Red Seal Certificate Transportation/travel information Valid driver''s licence Work conditions and physical capabilities Physically demanding Screening questions Are you authorized to work in Canada?
