POSITION DESCRIPTION:Located in Longueuil, the Jazz Longueuil residence, managed by Cogir, offers a friendly and stimulating work environment. We have a dedicated and caring team for independent seniors and those experiencing mild loss of autonomy. We are currently seeking a dedicated, dynamic, and passionate Recreation Technician. This is a full time, permanent position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., with evenings and weekends as needed.

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the leisure manager in their dutiesCarry out all related tasks requested by the recreation managerCollaborate with the different departments of the residence to make things easier for everyoneDisseminate the activities calendar to residentsRecreationAnimate and oversee supervision during the activitiesDecorating the premises for special eventsPromote activities related to the residentsWelcome the residents and invite them to participate in the activitiesEXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Training related to the leisure sector (an asset)A good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook (an asset)Knowledge of retirement homes, a major assetMinimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar positionBENEFITS:Salary to be discussedFree parkingReferral ProgramSick days and time off for family obligationsVacationCareer OpportunityTerrace and picnic area for employeesA welcoming and tight
