Each week will be a new experience with a host of activities including both indoor play and recreation and outside activities. You will get experience in designing recreational programs, teaching and leading individuals and groups while ensuring a healthy and safe environment. Above all, your goal is to help the children have fun, and have fun yourself.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED Education, Certifications and Licenses High school diploma (OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered) Current CPR and Basic First Aid qualifications A valid driver’s license (Province), an asset HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or HIGH FIVE Sport (successful completion by end of probation) HIGH FIVE Healthy Minds for Healthy Children (successful completion by end of probation) Experience In working with children In programming activities for children In leading children in activities In ensuring safety protocols and procedures Competencies Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS English Essential / Bilingual (English and French) an asset Reading: None Writing: None Oral: Functional BENEFITS AVAILABLE Health Benefits: Employee and Family Assistance Program Work Life Balance: Vacation pay.
