Responsibilities
\n
Calibrate precision measurement devices, including verniers, micrometers, plug gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and similar tools to ensure accuracy and reliability according to industry standards.
\n
Perform minor mechanical adjustments on tools and instruments to bring them back within acceptable tolerance ranges.
\n
Maintain complete and accurate calibration records, including calibration certificates, data sheets, and detailed logs of all tests performed.
\n
Manage and track the calibration schedule, ensuring instruments are identified, scheduled, and prepared in a timely manner for internal or external calibration.
\n
Ensure all calibration and inspection activities comply with applicable regulatory and quality standards, such as ISO/IEC and ISO 9001.
\n
Use quality control and quality assurance techniques to support inspection processes and verify that products meet specified requirements.
\n
Perform visual inspections and dimensional checks using calipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools, interpreting blueprints and technical drawings as required.
\n
Keep measurement equipment operating effectively by following operating instructions, performing basic upkeep, and initiating repairs when necessary.
\n
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards, procedures, and legal regulations.
\n
Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and staying current with technical publications and best practices in calibration and quality inspection.
\n
Support overall quality and organizational objectives by completing related tasks and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives as needed.

Essential Skills
\n
Minimum two (2) years of experience working as a Calibration Technician or Quality Inspector.
\n
Experience working in aerospace manufacturing or a precision machine shop environment.
\n
Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
\n
Proficiency in using calipers, micrometers, plug gauges, bore gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measurement instruments.
\n
