Qualifications

Minimum two (2) years experience in procurement/purchasing.
\n
Bachelors in business or related field considered an asset.
\n
Ability to create and understand Request for Proposal documentation.
\n
Preferred experience in industrial and manufacturing industry.
\n
Purchasing and distribution experience required.
\n
Familiarity with commercial business contracts an asset.
\n
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
\n
Effective time management skills.
\n
Ability to work well under pressure.
\n
\nJob Duties\n
\n
Negotiate with suppliers for price, quality, timeliness and other factors.
\n
Maintain list of suppliers and update information regarding suppliers on a regular basis.
\n
Create Request for Pricing documentation.
\n
Produce and process requisitions, invoices, supply request and supply orders.
\n
