· Lead the contract approval process, change order and invoice approval processes.
· Administrate complex contracts, providing directions to internal and external groups.
· Identify project priorities, create / manage a list and priorities of the highest impact.
· Track and communicate the status of all project efforts throughout the organization with focus on procurement planning and execution.
· Update senior management / stakeholders on progress against plan on a regular basis and escalate issues as required.
· Develop, educate team members and ensure systematic tool usage and application for all phases of project management, i.e. design, approval, procurement, execution, communication, etc.
· Demonstrate meaningful and measurable results in improved cycle time for projects and create strategies to increase supply chain efficiency.
Health and Safety:
· Understands and works in compliance with the Environmental and Health/Safety management systems, policies, rules, and guidelines.
· Observe and follow standards for safe working conditions as outlined in the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
· Takes every precaution reasonable in the circumstances for the protection of a worker. Specific accountabilities for safety include, but are not limited to performing regular workplace inspections, conducting/participating in safety talks, employee meetings, actively participating in accident/incident investigations, training new employees, identifying and correcting unsafe acts or conditions, identify, correct or commend health and safety performance and conducting performance appraisals for workers’ safety performance
Job Specifications—Skills and Competencies:
· Minimum 5 years of experience in Warehouse and Logistics business.
· Prior experience in project / product management roles.
· Working on or completed a PMP designation.
· Training and experience in construction projects.
· Training in facilitating meetings, discussions, and workshops.
· Training and experience in leadership roles.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
· Strong discipline to adhere to established/proven processes.
