price project revenue recognition and accrual in compliance with accounting standards, budget reporting and monthly forecast requirements Work directly with operational teams and provide support in project control related areas including cost, construction progress and schedule compliance Support the team in continuous improvement initiatives and tracking Coordinates with functional groups such as Finance, Engineering, Business Services, QC, and HSE to ensure project success Provide clear communication and regular reports for project progress and contract performance Monitor projects for contract performance with support from the Business Services team.
Assist with the implementation and progress of Client''s Project Control initiatives applying knowledge of rules of credit Use spreadsheets and scheduling tools to track and forecast progress across multiple projects, identifying potential cost overruns, scope creep, and margin erosion early and analyzing variance from expectation Use data such as timesheets, material costs, contractor costs and indirect costs to accurately track spending per project against budget Other duties as assigned Role Specifications: Minimum of 2 years in a Project Controls
Specialist, Project Accountant or similar role is required.
Accounting/Finance Diploma is considered an asset Experience in the Mechanical Services or Construction Industry Knowledge of project management principles, concepts, practices, processes and expectations along with change management processes Proven ability to manage costs across multiple projects for $10M+ annual budget Highly proficient in the MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel) and Power BI Able to provide a negative result on pre
