Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Chef will complete all tasks required for the kitchen operations and distribution of the hot meal program to all children attending the center. You will be responsible for menu planning, purchasing groceries and supplies, and preparing nutritious meals and snacks for the children enrolled in the Centre each day. The kitchen is to be managed, and the Chef's work is to be conducted in strict compliance with Food Safe Regulations.

The Chef works in consultation with the Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and its coordination with the other Centre programs.
