Employees work 5 days on, 5 days off, then 4 days on, ensuring balanced time off and consistent operational support.**About the role**The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing safe and environmentally compliant daily production operations to ensure the continuous functioning of the mine. This role encompasses all aspects of production supervision, including managing hourly personnel, maintaining product quality, ensuring safety and environmental standards, and overseeing raw material usage. The supervisor supports the implementation of process improvements and capital projects as needed and contributes to employee training and qualification efforts. Acting as a key liaison between management, shift operations, and maintenance teams, the position also includes responsibilities such as conducting audits and inspections and reviewing and authorizing work permits.* Maintain safe and environmentally sound operating conditions within equipment design parameters* Lead, schedule, coach, train, and develop hourly employees as needed (incl. safety and environmental)* Facilitate ongoing communication between hourly employees and management to ensure proper and productive rail operation, product quality, allocation of resources, safety and environmental* Work with operations and maintenance to troubleshoot and address problems in the plant to maximize product and raw materials flow and safety.* Assist in the implementation of process improvements or capital projects* Responsible for conducting audits and inspections* Reviews and authorizes work permits* High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant experience or 2
