Position Title: Production Manager

Reporting to: President/CEO
\nLocation: Delhi, Ontario\n
Salary: Commensurate with experience
\nHours: Normal business hours are 8:00 am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday.\n
This is a full‑time, salaried leadership role. Managers are expected to be consistently available during core business hours and to devote the time necessary to lead effectively and meet their commitments.

We do not define leadership by hours worked, but by results achieved, people developed, and values upheld. The role may require additional flexibility during peak periods, balanced by personal judgment and long‑term sustainability.

1. Develop and execute broad production strategy/plan as approved by CEO\n
\n
2. Production quality\n

3. Production planning\n
\n
4. Production costs\n
\n
5. Improvement gains – productivity, cost and quality improvements\n
\n
6. Process improvement\n
\n
\nHow results are measured\n
\n
1. Process indicators
\n
\na. Required standard labor hours on open production orders to meet current sales and inventory stocking requirements – this is simply a measurement of total standard labour hours required to complete all outstanding production orders.\n\n
1. Financial measures (effectiveness and efficiency indicators)
\n
\na. Production related quality claims b. Labor hours usage variance – actual vs standard production labor hours\n\n
1. Knowledge/Capacity/Resiliency Building measures
\n
\na. Processes are documented and up to date so that improvements and knowledge gained is not lost over time, but instead contributes to our knowledge base and can be built upon by those that follow you.\nb. Processes are measured as described above on a continuous basis to ensure timely data for decision making in managing processes.\n
c. Continuous improvement of the processes owned are approached using the QIC (Quality Improvement and Control) story methodology to ensure decision making on process changes and improvements is sound and evidence based.
