Required Experience

secondary education in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Experience with production scheduling, workflow coordination, and shop operations.
Strong understanding of supply chain coordination and material planning.
Exposure to cost tracking, budgeting, or financial analysis in a production setting is an asset.
Familiarity with API standards or regulated manufacturing environments is preferred.

Employment Type: time permanent role, working out of Beyond’s Blackfalds facility 5 days a week
The role will require travel to Vendors and Other facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Coordination & Execution
Control and issue production and repair work orders.
Coordinate daily shop activities and workflow to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor job progress and proactively resolve production bottlenecks.
Support production scheduling and capacity planning activities.
Supply Chain & Material Coordination
Generate and track purchase orders to support production requirements.
Coordinate vendor timelines to align with production schedules.
Ensure materials and components are available and ready for builds.
Financial, Scheduling & Forecasting
Support production scheduling and capacity planning initiatives.
Track labor, materials, and job progress across active work orders.
Monitor job costs and identify variances, escalating concerns as needed.
Assist in forecasting production timelines and resource requirements.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure compliance with API standards and internal quality requirements.
Maintain traceability of materials and production processes.
Support internal and external audits, including nonconformance resolution.
Leadership & Team Support
Provide direction and support to shop personnel to ensure alignment with production goals.
Foster team accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
Assist in prioritization of work and execution of production plans.
