Looking for Supervisory experience from Automotive/Manufacturing environments
Job Duties
1.Assume responsibility and have the authority to directly supervise assigned hourly personnel performing production operations;
2.Plan production manpower requirements around the products, equipment, and manpower ready to expedite the tasks safely and efficiently;
3.Prioritize critical repairs, etc. to enable respective support groups to operate efficiently;
4.Overcome quality issues, robotic errors and equipment breakdowns to ensure delivery of quality products;
5.Continually monitor and control S.P.C. Program to maintain quality production.
6.Responsible for Safety for all shifts;
7.Ensure that all employees on shift adhere to Company rules, the Collective Labour Agreement, Health & Safety guidelines, and quality standards;
8.Continually improve production capabilities to enhance performance in quality and productivity.
9.Coordinate and effectively communicate through daily team meetings
10.Assist employees in making decisions as required;
11.Resolve employee issues that affect their job performance;
12.Communicate job expectations and accountability to the employees.
13.Perform monthly safety talks
Requirements
1.Post

2.Supervisory management courses are recommended.
Experience
1.Minimum two years supervisory experience;
2.Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
3.Working knowledge of the equipment and the processes within the department;
4.Demonstration of leadership skills;
5.Demonstrates positive team building techniques.
