Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services (MRPMCS) is currently seeking a Prevention and Support Worker for Alisa’s Wish Child and Youth Advocacy Centre. This is a temporary role working 33 hours per week until the return of the incumbent. The Alisa’s Wish program operates as a child and youth advocacy center and is supported by a dedicated team of multidisciplinary professionals and volunteers. Together, the team works to enhance safety, healing, and resilience for children and youth who have experienced or witnessed abuse or violence, and for the caregivers and communities that support them. This position focuses on prevention and education initiatives for youth, parents, and caregivers to strengthen child and youth safety across the community. The Prevention and Support Worker works to advance the goals of the Child Advocacy Centre through community engagement, presentations, youth involvement, and program reporting, and must be comfortable working independently and versatile to support evening and weekend programming and events.
