Required Experience

19 years of age. The PMW ensures the right people are brought together to collectively plan, make decisions, and commit to actions that best support the transition of young adults to adulthood. PMW collaborates with other ministry staff to support relational and cultural stability, assist young adults to consider and plan for their future goals, and support the management and updating of the transition plan.
They operate within the parameters provided by the BC Child, Family and Community Services Act and the Aboriginal Operational and Practice Standards and Indicators (AOPSI), and use a solution focused and trauma informed practice framework in their work with youth, families, and communities.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:

A Diploma in an identified human services field plus 1 year of relevant experience is reserved for candidates who voluntarily self

Minimum of 1 years' experience working with vulnerable youth and young adults with complex needs including issues of substance abuse, mental illness, homelessness, or youth in or formerly from ministry care will be considered.
