Under the direction of the Manager of Provincial Offences, provides administrative support for the operations and procedures of Provincial Offences Act matters as well as Court Monitor and maintenance of records of all court proceedings. The Clerk/Monitor also acts as backup to all positions within the administration office.

Qualifications Successful completion of Community College Diploma in Law Clerk Program or equivalent.
\n
Minimum of 2 years related court and/or legal experience or an acceptable combination of experience and education.
\n
Must be bilingual with verbal and written proficiency in both English and French.
\n
Knowledge of procedures, processes, legislation and regulations related to the Ontario Court of Justice and the Provincial Offences Act (POA).
\n
Knowledge of court processes and proceedings including protocol and etiquette with the ability to exercise discretion, judgement, diplomacy.
\n
Previous experience as cashier and office administration experience.
