Durham College is seeking an experienced and motivated professional who shares our commitment to quality and student success. The Faculty of Skilled Trades + Apprenticeship requires contract professors to teach in the postsecondary and apprenticeship programs.
Courses available including lectures and labs for:
Automotive Technician – Service and Management
Crane Operation, Rigging and Construction Techniques
Electrical Engineering Technician
Gas Technician 2
Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Techniques (HVAC)
Mechanical Techniques – Plumbing
Welding Engineering Technician

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant educational credentials and a proven track record of relevant work/teaching experience. Applicants must have the appropriate education, accreditation or trade certification and successful candidates will be asked to provide proof of completion. Acceptable documentation may include copies of diplomas, degrees, or certificates

Hours: time faculty teach up to 6 hours per week with varied schedules Monday through Thursday between 8:00 am and 9:00 pm and Fridays between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm. Part
