Coordinate with ground crew and other operators to facilitate smooth operations during lifting and moving tasks.
Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, including hours operated and maintenance performed.
Assist in loading and unloading freight as needed, ensuring proper handling techniques are used.
Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on boom equipment as necessary.
Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks on job sites, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Experience
Proven experience in operating heavy equipment, particularly boom lifts or similar machinery.
Experience in commercial driving or automotive repair is a plus, enhancing the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
Knowledge of freight handling processes will be beneficial for this role.
Solid communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment are essential for success in this position.
