Join us to help change lives and protect Canadians! The Parole Officers responsibilities include guiding the progress of offenders through a progression from most restrictive to least restrictive controls and from institutions to community supervision.
They ensure that legal and policy requirements for reintegration are met as well as manage the reintegration of offenders throughout their sentences while trying to maintain public safety.
Furthermore, they are responsible for assessing, analyzing and recommending potential transfer and release suitability of offenders as well as observing and interpreting the behaviour of the offenders/parolees.
