Required Experience

on experience in parks maintenance, with demonstrated knowledge of turf management practices, including turf health, maintenance techniques, and seasonal care. Working knowledge of irrigation systems, operating parks equipment and tools, gardening, and landscaping practices is also required. Preference will be given to candidates with turf management education and experience. Horticulture education and experience will be considered an asset. Candidates must possess Turf Science Level 1 or another relevant turf management course or Certified Irrigation Technician Level 1, with a willingness to obtain the alternate certification. A valid B.C. Driver’s License, First Aid certification, and MOE Pesticide Applicator Certification are required, or the willingness to obtain these credentials.
