road driver observations to ensure efficiency and compliance.

Ensure drivers complete daily safety and maintenance inspections for all company vehicles and equipment.
\n
Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure timely deliveries, exchanges, and equipment repairs.
\n
Plan and monitor employee schedules and route assignments, maintaining communication throughout the day until all routes are completed.
\n
Lead therecruitmentprocess, including interviewing, selecting, and training new employees.
\n
Implementperformance managementprocesses, includingprogressive disciplineas necessary.
\n
Conduct thorough incident investigations, including scene management, first incident reporting,root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
\n
Maintain and enforceEnvironmental Health and Safety(EH&S;) programs, including training, safety meetings, and compliance reporting.
\n
Ensure full compliance with company safety policies, Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, and other applicable industry guidelines.
\n
What We Need From You:
\n
High school diploma or equivalent.
\n
Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.
\n
Possession of or willingness to obtain a valid Class 3/DZ driveru2019s license (or higher) and compliance with allDOT regulations.
\n
Knowledge of OSHA, DOT, andMOE regulations.
\n
Experience operating refuse collection equipment is an asset.
\n
Strongdata entryandanalytical skills.
\n
Union experience is an asset.
\n
