7:00pm**Duties & Responsibilities:*** Receive and process orders/credits by telephone, in person, via fax, email, SPS, EDI, sales answering machines* Promotion and sales of connected, push or new product* Initiate sales by calling existing clients* Check inventory for product availability, delivery schedule, and price verification* Troubleshoot customer service issues and coordinate between internal departments such as Accounting, Assembly, Outside Sales, Dispatch, Processing or Purchasing for a positive outcome* Print pickup slips and invoices* Run and sort orders and reports for various internal and external customers/departments* Arrange for pickup of orders with correct corresponding paperwork.* Advising shortages to Sales Representatives and impute orders for appropriate substitutions* Invoice orders* Assist arrivals at Reception and the Pickup counter, process order payments and paperwork* Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers at all times* Daily entry and posting of orders and credits* Commitment to Food Safety by adhering to HACCP and CFIA hygiene rules / sanitary work practices* Other duties as required**Requirements:*** High school diploma* At least 1 year of customer service experience* Ability to stay calm under pressure* Great ability to learn and retain information* Excellent customer service skills and strong computer skills* Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral English language****Intercity Packers offers a range of benefits, including:***** Comprehensive health and dental benefits (including vision, prescription drugs, disability, and extended health coverage)* Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) Matching Program* Annual Profit Sharing Bonus* Weekly paychecks* Employee Family Assistance Program* Opportunities for career advancement* Employee Recognition Programs* Company
