Fuelled by growing ambition and the strength of Oxford’s science ecosystem, EIT is now expanding its footprint to a 2 million sq ft Campus across the western part of The Oxford Science Park. Designed by Foster + Partners led by Lord Norman Foster, this will become a transformative workplace for up to 7,000 people, with autonomous laboratories, purpose‑built laboratories including a plant sciences building and dynamic spaces to spark interdisciplinary collaboration.

EIT is seeking a highly skilled and versatile Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, exceptional attention to detail, and a flexible approach to work. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and building systems as well as a range of equipment onsite including laboratory equipment.

You will also be responsible for both routine and reactive maintenance and compliance of the buildings (including laboratories and office spaces).
\n
The role requires a proactive, hands‑on individual with the ability to respond swiftly to emergency maintenance issues and to work effectively with colleagues and external partners. You will be required to participate in an on‑call rota to provide support outside of standard working hours.
