This position reports to the Director of Mortgage Originations and focuses on comprehensive document review and loan management. You will evaluate broker submissions, ensure compliance with industry guidelines, and maintain strong communication with stakeholders. Your role includes staying updated on regulatory developments and building successful partnerships through excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess mortgage applications for sound underwriting
• Communicate conditions clearly and timely to brokers
• Ensure effective pipeline management in documentation
• Collaborate with teams to exceed performance targets
• Stay informed on B20, AML, and KYC legislation
Requirements:
• 3+ years of underwriting experience in residential lending
• Strong understanding of mortgage documentation
• Proven ability to negotiate and foster relationships
• Strong organizational and multitasking competencies
• Fluency in French is necessary
