Required Experience

site activities and monitoring of progress;

Provide input relating to the resolution of any design or installation issues;
\n
Where possible participate as part of the team to plan the job from the onset;
\n
Install, alter, repair and maintain a wide range of instrumentation equipment for secure, effective and environmentally sound operation;
\n
Ensure all instrument maintenance operations follow applicable regulations and trade practices;
\n
May troubleshoot problems that occur with the job, submit requests for supplies and tools to ensure that they are available on the worksite when needed;
\n
Other duties as directed from time to time.
\n

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Must be an instrumentation technician 447A or equivalent with 5 years of experience;
\n
Experience with PLC and HMI systems;
\n
Proficient in using electrical test equipment (multimeters, insulation testers, signal generators, loop calibrators);
\n
Solid ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings;
\n
Solid understanding of industrial control systems, including analog/digital signals and communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, ProfiNet, Ethernet/IP);
\n
Able to set priorities and work with at times limited supervision;
\n
Ability to think logically and keep up with changes in technology;
\n
Experience reading & understanding hydraulic and electrical schematics;
\n
Basic computer skills, written and verbal communication skills;
\n
Candidate must be willing to start an apprenticeship towards electrical licence 309A.
