As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you'll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students' academic success and understanding. All from the comfort of your home.
Responsibilities Provide 1‑on‑1 online tutoring to students using the Live Learning Platform.
Accept instant tutoring requests whenever you are available.
Use the AI‑powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real‑time instructional support.
Qualifications Advanced subject mastery of the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and familiarity with Access, Teams, and OneNote.
Strong teaching and problem‑solving skills, capable of explaining complex concepts with multiple approaches.
Curriculum awareness and adaptive instruction abilities to support students from beginners to intermediate users.
Solid communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
Ability to adapt to different learning styles and student needs.
Benefits Earn incrementally higher pay for each session with the same student, up to $40/hour.
Payments offered up to twice per week for fast and reliable compensation.
