ABCO Industries is currently seeking a Metal Fabricator/Welder (Lunenburg) to join their team in Lunenburg.

Required Experience

· Monday – Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm.
\n
· Early morning, evenings and weekends as required.
\n
· Majority of time in fabrication shop setting.
\n
· Exposure to loud noise, dust, moving & vibrating machinery, heavy equipment, confined spaces, electricity and heights.
\n
· Collaborating with various departments.
\n
· Training/mentorship provided.
\n
Requirements:
\n· 1 – 2 years experience in stainless steel or aluminum fabrication.\n
· Welding diploma preferred.
\n
· CWB certification preferred.
\n
· Ability to read and communicate in English.
\n
· Safety conscientious.
\n
· Ability to complete basic math calculations.
\n
· Flexibility to work overtime which may be early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
\n
· Hold a valid drivers’ license.
\n
· Available for occasional travel.
\n
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
\n

Typical Workday:
\n· Ensuring efficiency in completing their work while meeting targeted hours for each task.\n
· Reading shop and installation drawings while completing shop testing for manufactured equipment, diagnosing faulty operation, and undertaking corrective repair.
