Employment Type: employment reference check** About The Role We’re seeking a Merchandiser to join the Commercial team. In this role, you’ll play a key part in the procurement of raw materials, including Pulses, Special Crops and Oilseeds to achieve optimum financial results.

Merchandisers at ADM are a vital component in our supply chain. Individuals in these energetic roles have responsibility for the procurement of grain and oilseeds, and/or the marketing of finished goods to achieve optimum financial results. Merchandisers are asked to develop an understanding of local, national and global market trends, calculate business margins and their effect on commodity pricing, and manage local bids and offers among many other topics.

Additionally, in their roles, Merchandisers balance risk management, customer relationships, transportation and logistics. The position is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with accounts, including the coordinating of logistics, accounting, and other customer related issues. As an intermediate member of the merchandising team, this position requires a higher level of strategic thinking, market knowledge and employee development than an entry
