Mechanic
We are looking for a Mechanic for our Deer Lake site. Our ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, enjoy troubleshooting and performing preventative measures to ensure our equipment is in working order to harvest peat.
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform daily maintenance on tractors and equipment;
Carry out repairs and perform preventative maintenance;
Diagnose and maintain power transmissions, as well as hydraulic, pneumatic, and vacuum systems;
Complete approved work orders according to the established schedule;
QUALIFICATIONS:
Training or experience in mechanics is required;
You have a robust mechanical aptitude;
You have basic welding knowledge;
You work quickly and efficiently;
You can prioritize tasks and stay organized.
