Required Experience

day general maintenance. Ensure the safety, health, and welfare of all crew and passengers on board. Ensure crew levels are sufficient for successful operations pursuant to Safe Manning for the vessel. Provide verbal and written performance reviews of all crew to the supervisor in support of the performance management of the crew. Support the skills development of the crew, ensuring adequate support, training, and development of additional competencies by acting as a mentor for the crew. Maintain a positive tone within the team and work cooperatively through personal behavior, work contribution, and the sharing of expertise and knowledge. Act as an ambassador for Bridgeman’s in all dealings with the public, management, and team members. Qualifications Three (3) years of relevant experience preferred. Valid Transport Canada – SVOP or 60T + COC Valid Seafarers Medical certificate Valid MED/STCW certificates ROC

Employment Type: MC Marine Basic or Advanced First Aid Bridge watch rating, SVMO, and Simulated electronic navigation Limited are all considered an asset. Ability to clear a drug and alcohol test prior to hiring and potential random tests throughout employment with prior notice. Excellent comprehension and command of the English language; (written & verbal) Working Conditions Repetitive, physical activity involved (walking, kneeling, reaching, lifting) Lifting light to medium weight (up to 20 to 50 lbs) Exposure to environmental elements including extreme weather conditions.
