KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Operate manual lathes to machine precision components
· Perform setups, including tooling selection and workholding
· Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
· Machine parts to tight tolerances with high accuracy
· Select appropriate tooling, speeds, and feeds
· Work with a variety of materials and component sizes
· Inspect and measure parts using precision tools (micrometers, verniers, etc.)
· Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
· Collaborate with machining and engineering teams to optimize processes
· Follow all company safety and quality procedures
QUALIFICATIONS
· Minimum 5+ years of manual lathe machining experience preferred
· Strong understanding of machining principles, fits, and tolerances
· Proven ability to work on large, medium, and small components
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings independently
· Experience with heavy machining is a strong asset
· High attention to detail and quality workmanship
