year work experience related to building or community maintenance.
Knowledge of and capability to complete tasks relating to general painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating systems and gardening.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
A basic level of computer knowledge – Microsoft Office and various maintenance software.
A demonstrated ability to prioritize and organize schedule of maintenance and workload planning.
An ability to communicate professionally with residents, staff, visitors and contractors.
All successful applicants must pass the vulnerable sector Criminal Record Check applicable to Provincial guidelines.
Ability to push, pull, stoop, crouch, lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work with cleaners, detergents and other cleaning equipment.
Ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision. Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently and understand verbal and written instructions
