We are now seeking an Experienced Machine Tool Retrofit Technician to join our Machine Tool Solutions team in Canada. This role is suited for a highly capable, self‑directed technician with hands‑on CNC experience and a strong understanding of retrofit integration, probing systems, and advanced machining workflows.
Role Overview
As an experienced technician, you will independently complete installation, commissioning, and optimization of Renishaw’s machine tool probing, calibration, and control products across a wide variety of CNC platforms. You will serve as a technical expert for customers, OEM partners, and internal teams—providing advanced troubleshooting, training, and strategic application support.
This field‑based role requires extensive travel within Canada and occasional international assignments.
Key Responsibilities

3+ years of experience in CNC service, applications engineering, machine tool retrofits, or automated manufacturing environments.

Ability and willingness to travel extensively across Canada.
Compensation
$70,000 to $90,000 annually (depending on experience and location).
