Required Experience

initiated to sweep, mop, empty trash cans, clean work surfaces and perform any applicable maintenance duties to keep the warehouse area clean and organized
· Keep the yard clean and the inventory neat and orderly.
· Identify and assist customers with advice, information, and/or help in gathering and loading orders.
· Be aware of theft and act in line with company policy, to report or discourage it.
· Work on any special projects assigned by your supervisor, after determining their priority in relation to your other duties.
· Work on additional duties and assignments as assigned by management.
· Work in a safe manner in accordance to provincial and federal safety legislation, as well as use of good common sense. Report any potential hazards and unsafe behaviour to management in order to have the situation corrected
· Be able to work on a team as well as to work safely and productively without supervision
Holding a valid drivers' license and forklift certification is an asset. Experience with load building in a lumber yard is also an asset.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Includes but not limited to the following:
· Be familiar with the locations(s) of all inventory and equipment.
· Be attentive to deadlines, processing and building of orders to meet customer commitments
· Be familiar with the secure operation and maintenance of equipment, including forklift, lumber cart, pallet jack, banding machine, etc.
· Responsible for adhering to safe processes for, and proper use of, all equipment associated with the order picking process
· Store material in correct locations in the yard.
· Maintain general order and organization of all lumber products and procedures
