Position Overview The Board invites applications from qualified teachers for the following position. Location: Holy Family School, Paris Grade(s)/Subject(s): Grade 5 FTE: 1.0 Qualification(s): Junior Existing Vacancy: Yes Salary & Selection The posted salary range reflects the base rate up to A2 Max; actual compensation maybe higher in accordance with the collective agreement, considering years of experience and QECO classification. In accordance with the current OECTA Collective Agreement, priority placement will be given to any qualified redundant or supernumerary permanent teachers in order of seniority before offering the position to an Occasional Teacher. If the assignment remains unfilled, qualified applications from the Occasional Teachers List will be considered. In the event the assignment is still unfilled, qualified applicants that are not on the Occasional Teachers List may be considered. The Board shall access and review the information contained in an applicant's portfolio for hiring purposes. Applicants are encouraged to ensure their portfolio is current and contains all relevant information, including information about Additional Qualifications that are not currently listed on your Certificate of Qualification as issued by the Ontario College of Teachers. The end date of this assignment is subject to change, as applicable. About Us As a Catholic Learning Community, the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board provides faith formation and academic excellence, enabling our graduates to live a life of love and service in Christ. The Board serves approximately 12,000 students across 29 elementary schools, 3 secondary schools, a multisite Alternative Education school, and 3 administrative offices. The Board currently employs over 1,500 permanent staff and approximately 350 casual and occasional staff including teachers supported by consultants, principals, administrators, and non‑academic staff.
