Looking for Alberta Registered LPNs to help care for clients in and around Edmonton and Area, such as Sherwood Park, St.Albert, Fort Saskatchewan, Morinville, and Ardrossan. Please note this is a casual position and hours available are dependent on clients available. Must be comfortable with palliative care and wound care.
As a home care nurse, you highly motivated to work independently, while collaborating with other care providers, advisers, and family to provide top notch care for your clients. In addition to understanding the importance of client care, in this role you also understand the importance of explicit, actionable plans that deliver results.

Requirements
Active registration with CLPNA
Comfortable working with palliative clients and wound care
Passionate about making a difference
Described as a self led leader with the ability to take responsibility for own behavior and success.
Meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
Help clients with their ADL's (Activities of Daily Living)
Assist clients with transfers, ambulation and exercises.
Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
Passionate about making a difference.
Must be able speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
Able to travel from client to client in a timely fashion. Must drive and have own vehicle.
