Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and restaurant standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines throughout the cooking process.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of ingredients and supplies.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Help train recent kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food handling procedures.
Experience
4 years experience as a line cook in a restaurant or food service environment mandatory.
Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
