Work Term: Permanent Work Language: Bilingual Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week Education: Other trades certificate or diploma Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year Work site environment Outdoors Wet/damp In/on water Work setting Hotel, motel, resort Tasks Ensure safety of rescuers and victims at accident scenes Assist with coordination of recreational, sport and fitness events Maintain and repair sports equipment Leading/instructing individuals Assist clients/guests with special needs Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Monitor recreational, sports or fitness activities to ensure safety and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses National Lifeguard Service (NLS) Certificate Screening questions Are you authorized to work in Canada?
